Dear Friends and Partners,
The McWin team is very pleased to announce two new investments:
First of all, our McWin Food Ecosystem Fund has invested in UK-based specialist hospitality incubator White Rabbit Projects. Founded in 2016 by former Soho House Commercial Director Chris Miller, White Rabbit’s unique development platform identifies and incubates early-stage hospitality brands, helping them to scale with a focus on quality and guest experience, through its full suite of best-in-class creative and business services spanning operations, culinary, marketing, finance, and design.
White Rabbit’s portfolio currently comprises over 900 staff across 52 global sites operating names including the following:
We are delighted to forge this partnership with White Rabbit’s founders, who share our love of building businesses. White Rabbit’s continued growth will focus on identifying and backing new operators, creating new concepts, developing diversified revenue streams and scaling the international expansion of its portfolio companies. It is within these areas that our capital will be deployed. As a multi-brand restaurant operator, White Rabbit is a great addition to our portfolio. This investment underlines our growth ambitions to become a dominant player in the European restaurant sector.

We are equally excited to announce the second investment made on behalf of our McWin Restaurant Fund. Following the acquisition of BK SEE Poland S.A. announced this summer and in line with our ambitious plan to expand the Burger King brand throughout Central and Eastern Europe, we have now acquired exclusive master franchise and development rights to continue to develop Burger King in Eastern Europe. In addition to Burger King, a brand we know inside and out, we are thrilled to announce we have acquired master franchise and development rights to Popeyes® brands in several countries in Eastern Europe.
Founded in 1972, Popeyes® has more than 50 years of history and culinary tradition, bringing New Orleans-style fried chicken to over 3,700 + locations in the US and around the world. We believe both Burger King and Popeyes® to be resilient brands and feel we are the best operator to carry out a successful investment.

Our plans to open 600 restaurants throughout the region over the next 10 years, demonstrates the significant growth potential we see in Central and Eastern Europe and our commitment to unlocking sustainable long-term value for customers, employees, communities, and the local economies where we operate.
These two investments bring us a step closer to becoming a leading, dominant player in the food ecosystem sector in Europe. We look forward to a bright future.
Best regards,
The McWin Family
